John Walker

John paints in oil and mixed media, frequently using collage and palette knife techniques. He often incorporates crushed charcoal, pastel, chalk, ash and varnish. The resulting paintings evolve from memory and are a response to mood and atmosphere. He hopes they encourage a dialogue with the viewer.

He has exhibited throughout the UK including Smith Gallery -Teddington, Orleans House - Twickenham, Guildford House Gallery and art fairs in Battersea, Chelsea, Edinburgh, Cambridge, Bristol and NEC Birmingham.
